While we were out near Lake Lure (in Lake Lure, North Carolina) we saw a helicopter getting water to drop on a forest fire that had started from a lightening strike in a storm the night before. It was quite amazing to watch and to be so close.

The (scary!) stairs leading to and from Chimney Rock. There is something unsettling about climbing stairs on the side of a mountain!

Wii Fit!

So I got a Wii Fit last week and I LOVE IT! It did tell me I was obese, but I still think it is pretty awesome.
One example, my mii as a penguin for one of the balance games!:

And I got an awesome new TV! :)
